My kidnappers "Carnival"...

I just was released from my kidnappers only yesterday and i must recount my experience...

...It was fantastic...

I had a bunch of fun. I loved almost everything about this cruise. The food was amazing and the environment was just as good. The service that we received was really pretty good. I did miss breakfast on one occasion but the fixed the problem after I left so I still give them credit for trying. The off-shore excursions were amazing. I got to ride a 4-wheeler through a sisal plantation in our first stop Progreso. We got incredibly dirty and it was fantastic. When we stopped in Cozumel, we went to a place where we were not only allowed to touch dolophins, but they took us for a ride. Too cool for this blog to write about.

Over all this was a really fun vacation. That will stick in my memory for a long time to come and I hope that everyone can Cruise sometime in there life. If you do i encourage you to go on Carnival. It was amazing.

How Dr.Pepper saved and ruined my life...

Hello out there to the handful of people who actually read this blog....

anyway i thought that i would update y'all on what is going on with the gig I'm doing for Grace Bible. We started practice last night and we were really jamming. Justin Romack, an excellent host by the way, had asked me to go and get a tasty beverage for him. I obliged thinking that i could also benefit from this Dr.Pepper run. Now the machine that i went to has a history. It has been said that if you press a certain button one could receive two drinks for the price of one. i had my hopes up to maybe find this magic from the machine. i was disappointed to not receive two drinks for the price of one. Yes i put in 75 cents and heard thunk...thunk thunk. I looked down in puzzlement and low and behold...three shiny, ice cold Dr.Peppers. Needless to say i was pleased.

However my pleasure was soon thwarted by the very thing that so satisfied me earlier. i had set my beverage on my brand new Fender Rumble Series 100 watt amplifier...you see where this is going. as we were rocking our faces off, i grew tired and sat down on the mentioned amp above and did not pay attention to where i was going. and then...sploosh...(silent screams). And as i gently set down my bass on the floor and fling my headphones to the ground i run to the only place i could think of...the bathroom. i got all of the paper towels that i could and tried to save my baby. luckily i think that i saved my amp in time and no harm was done. but it was very nerve racking for a few minute ts.

so there you go the first update to the gig. hopefully there will be more
